The development of agriculture in Algeria is a tangible reality; its growth in recent years has been seen especially with the decline of the main Algeria’s resources derived from Hydrocarbons.
Interesting facilities and exemption had been given by the government to this sector to boost it. Of course our company RPI Spa seized the opportunity to invest in such a segment.
Rouchi Ferme, a subsidiary of the Holding Rouchi Partner Investissement, located in the highlands about 200 km south of Algiers, is right in the axis of the motorway that goes from Algiers to the south of the country; the farm is made up of around 90 hectares totally planted with orchards; we find there:
A grape vineyard
Apple orchards, plum trees, pomegranate trees, etc …
An olive orchard
Cold stores
The farm has been enriched with a cold installation installed on the farm for the conservation of agricultural products.
With an area of 400 m2, the cold rooms, four in number, can each accommodate more than 1800 quintals of products.
